On the family days the Wiesn becomes especially affordable: on two Tuesdays the showmen and many snack stalls offer reduced prices for rides, food and drinks — ideal for families with children.

In 2026 the family days fall on Tuesday, 22 September and Tuesday, 29 September. The reduced prices apply until 6 p.m. on each of those days.

During the day the Wiesn is quieter and more relaxed than in the evening anyway — combined with the Mittagswiesn, a family visit can be made especially good value.
